Gabrielle is passionate about combating the sex bias in preclinical research. Before joining the Galea lab as a Research Analyst, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Psychology from the University of Toronto, where they investigated whether behavioural oscillations in associative memory formation vary across the menstrual cycle in humans and how a high-fat diet affects goal-directed behavior in male and female rats. Outside of the lab, Gabrielle enjoys playing soccer, attending drag shows, and spending time with her cat.
