Soda Wang is a co-op student in the Galea Lab. They are currently completing a BSc at the University of Toronto in the Pharmacology Specialist and Neuroscience Major programs. During their placement, Soda is assisting with projects investigating cognition, behaviour, and neurobiology in rodent models of Alzheimer's and depression. Their research interests lie in understanding the neurobiological basis of depression and to consider the importance of sex and gender factors in health outcomes. Outside of lab they enjoy bouldering, playing mahjong, and making soup.
