Jasmine holds a Master’s degree in Cellular and Molecular Medicine with a specialization in Bioinformatics from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor’s in Honors Biology from the University of Waterloo. Her master’s research focused on inflammatory pathologies in pregnancy, comparing preeclampsia and maternal obesity to identify key genes and pathways involved in placental inflammation. She combines a background in biology and data science to uncover insights in health and life sciences, with a passion for turning complex data into clear, creative stories. She’s equally interested in science communication and data visualization, finding creative ways to make complex research accessible and engaging. Outside the lab, Jasmine enjoys traveling, cooking, music and diving into new activities.
