Kim is the Lab Manager for Dr. Liisa Galea. She completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology at UBC and worked with the Galea Lab for a year before leaving to travel Asia (and dabble in some Mandarin!). However, she could not escape the wiles of behavioural neuroscience and went back to school to complete a Master’s of Neurosciences in Bremen, Germany. Her research interests lie in sex differences, women’s mental health, the serotonergic system and she loves learning new experimental techniques. In her free time, she plays volleyball and ultimate Frisbee, loves true crime and spooky video games, and is convinced her Pomeranian named Hennessy is certifiably the cutest dog that exists.
